What to do when you go on an assignment and you meet a Psycho beauch who hasn't had sex in two hundred years (or a Psycho Queen who was looking for a different type)?

The best way to leave an assignment is to say that you are ill. Any other thing could result in the beauch slaming you to the agency and your losing an Agency (it's okay to lose an assignment, but is much worst to lose an agency).

Don't say anything to the beauch, call your agency and tell them that you are ill and have to leave. The agency will call the beauch and make arrangements to send another temp. The beauch of course will throw a hissy but you are the only person who can legally decide if you are or are not sick.

Another thing to keep in mind is if you can see that a supervisor in part of the company is Psychotic or a particular employee is Psychotic don't sit there and wait for them to slam you. When you are called for an assignment and a Psycho's name is mentioned don't go, it's better to lose an assignment with one person than to lose the ability to go to the whole company altogether.

For example, it became apparent to me (and others) that a supervisor of a particular wp center did not want men. I informed my agency that I would work for the company but not in the center; a male friend of my opted to continue to try to work in the Center with the Lesbo. My friend was subsequently barred from working for the whole company as a result of a complaint from Lesbina, I have worked for this company now for several years (I see Lesbina pass by sometimes).

Eventually, when an idiot client like Lesbina complains about enough temps enough times, the agencies realize that they are idiots and don't hold it against the temps. Every agency in town and almost every temp in town now knows about Lesbina. But Lesbina still hasn't figured out why it's so difficult to get temps, "It's because no one wants to or has to work with you, you *ucking idiot".

What to do when you find that an agency is paying you less than everyone else?

The best thing to do is to get other agencies and only use the idiot agency as a last resort. You never know when you might need an ahole agency or the ahole agency may have a client that is desirable over some other client. The key thing here is that there are just too many agencies to waste time with or to care about any one of them.

When to sue an agency or a client?

Again, there is so much work and so many agencies that it is generally a waste of time to bother suing either an Agency or a client, you would only hurt yourself. What if you sue a company because of some idiot employee and that employee is fired? You can never work for that company again and the idiot who caused the whole thing is not even there anymore.

The exception is when some client really pisses you off (makes it clear that you will never ever work for them) and the Agency says something like "you will never work in this town again". In this case you should head down to small claims court, pay your $15.00 and sue both the agency and the client (you can charge the client with interferring with your contractual relationship with your employer). It is very likely that the agency will lose the contract and that the idiot who complained about you will be fired. The client could end up paying about $10,000 to maybe $20,000 for an attorney to defend your small claims case. NO temp agency has the power to destroy any temp, temp agencies are not all brothers and it is much to easy to sue. Only an idiot agency (that is making no money) would be stupid enough to give you reason to sue them.

What is the worst temp situation?

The best and worst temp situation has to be Word Processing Centers where there are a lot of temps from lots of different temp agencies.

There is nothing worst than a room full of aholes who are really actors, actresses, Screenwriters (and assorted other claims these idiots make to get themselves through the day). You can expect a lot of clawing and bullshit by most of them so that they can end up doing as little work as possible. It is amazing that some idiot temps go out on temp jobs but don't want to work. I've even had some of these actors/hustlers try to act as supervisor temps when they see an opening.

The thing is that Centers are 24 hours so there is a lot of opportunity for work, just don't socialize with the idiots and don't give them anything they can use against you. For the most part, TEMPS are not a group of people who help each other. It's every man for himself.

What if an agency refuses to pay you?

File a claim with the Department of Labor. They have the forms, they know how to handle it and they will collect your money for you.

What do you recommend in general?

In general you are a temp with nothing to lose and there is a lot of work. Don't waste time on any one job or agency because there are lots of them. Again, if some idiot claims that they have the power to ruin your life and stop you from working, sue them (although in general there is much too much work and other agencies to make this worth while.

Employees are like old aircraft carriers, they move too slow and are too stupid to be a danger to anyone but themselves. In every case in which some idiot employee has tried to play games with me, I have either made money off of that employee (by suing them) or that employee now runs screaming whenever he/she hears the word temp. It is just insane for some idiot with only one job and one source of income to try and play games with a temp who can work anywhere at anytime and who has multiple sources of income. Given this, there is still always some idiot beauch employee (who hasn't been sued yet) who is eager to pick a fight, just view them as income opportunity.

What are the Biggest Lies?
1. "We don't have to pay you overtime unless you work more than 40 hours for the same client". This is a lie and if you complain you can expect that the agency will see to it that you don't get more than 40 hours of work. So you have to choose, do you want to be screwed out of overtime or do you want to be screwed out of work. As I understand it, even if an agency screws you out of overtime, they still legally owe you that money. So, if later they piss you off or you find greener pastures, you can always file a complaint with the DOL for all the OT they didn't pay, you could also report them to the IRS since the OT they didn't pay is essentially income that they should have reported (but probably didn't) on their tax return. The Agencies making money don't have time for bullshit, the ones not making money are the ones who pull OT scams and miss payrolls and are in general a waste of them (but it's still fun to use and abuse them).

2. "The client says that they won't pay us so we can't pay you". The client has nothing to do with your pay. The agency is your employer and they are responsible for paying you even if the client declares bankruptcy. Idiot clients are very fond of saying sheat like we can't pay you unless you sign this or do that and acting like they have the power. They are aholes, ignore them. The agency is legally required to pay you for any work they send you on. The client is not your employer and has no power to do anything except end your assignment and since you are a temp you KNOW that the assignment is going to end so the Client has no power at all.

3. "We pride ourselves on the quality of our temps, and this client requires such and such". More bullshit. For the most part, all the agencies are all whores, they will send you on a job you aren't qualified for just to get the minimum four hour charge. The same temps are registered at all the agencies so there is no "quality" difference between one agency's talent and the other. If an agency does not give you work, move on, don't waste your time calling in everyday for months.

Zero Tolerance for Tude

The main reason that I have zero fahking tolerance for dumb beauches at temp agencies giving attitude is that I know what it is like to have a good temp agency and a good long term temp assignment. I actually know for a fahking fact that I can make $90,000 a year temping in NYC.

When you start your temping odessey in NYC, just keep this in mind, the only thing that stands between you and your making $90,000 a year temping is destroying the lives of a couple of stupid fahkers who make the mistake of getting in your way.

I have sued every idiot fahking client who has cost me a temp agency. There are a whole fahking lot of Clients in New York City right now that will never ever complain about you as a temp BECAUSE some temp has sued them (and they now know that it is not a good idea to run off at the fahking mouth about temps).

Maybe in the old days there were a lot of beauches at clients making it clear that they didn't want to see Blacks, but today, there are probably as many people in Centers who HATE Whites as there are people in Centers who HATE Blacks. These butt ugly Caribbean beauches that are popping up at every center ALL hate Whites.
