I actually saw a New Yorker on tv say in an interview that she came to New York City seeking a sense of self. If you don't have a *ucking sense of self before you come to New York City, you are definitely not going to find it living and working with a collection of abused idiot *uckers who are themselves all in search of a sense of self.

European tourist carry around with them a sense of identity that has nothing to do with America nor New York City (which is what I personally find so attractive about them).

Talking to, hanging out with, and/or having dinner with European tourists is like leaving the country for a couple of hours. European tourists are the best thing about living in New York City.

it seems that some of the European countries are getting so much American TV and Movie product that a lot of them are becoming as *ucked-up as Americans. Definitely, more of the tourist from English speaking countries are more likely to be just as *ucked as Americans. However, most of the French and the Germans seem determined NOT to lose their identities.
